I really, really, really hope there's booze tonight.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

I find it strange that they're doing the whole mobile phone collection deal, for a film that goes on general release tomorrow

This film will do well at the Box Office... Critics will not like it but users will love it!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

Why did I leave my phone behind at work? No one took phones away and there was booze and popcorn.

I can't even be bothered to say anything about this apart from

1 Taylor Kitch needs hair
2 Rhianna needs hotpants and make up
3 Battleshite

2/10 for the booze
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Well, I'll get the ball rolling, shall I?

Saw this at a packed Empire tonight courtesy of Diane 65. Free drinks on the way in and a bag of sweet (natch) popcorn on seats. Annoyingly the guy at the end of our row had snaffled several extra at the start so when people kept coming they searched other seats for it. They didn't take our phones...

Film was good, but hilarious. Not sure it was meant to be funny, but the really serious bits were sooooo cheesy that it was hard not to laugh. Very much enjoyed that the whole screen was laughing at those bits. One bit
when the vets came on in slow mo to work on the Missouri
everyone laughed and even clapped. Quite enjoyable, very much Transformers on speed. Real shame it was SO LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!! I literally had my fingers in my ears at some points.

Despite that, for having me in stitches for a lot of it, 7.5/10 from me.

Can now say. Film sucks.
Light opening almost worked, Battleship sequence itself also fun, other 110 minutes, not so much. Noisy, ugly, awful.

It was like a modern day version of Starship Troopers, but with no blood (or bugs) - lots of cheese, and good fun so long as your brain is switched off. It was funny in parts (like other suggestions, not sure they were all intended).

As is with comedy aspects of a film, you've always got that one person who laughs all the time at everything...

And they really need to make up their mind with the phones thing. I left mine at home for no reason - which made it difficult to meet up with my friend (although I found her in the end).

My only gripe, once again at the Empire, the sound effects are so loud, yet the vocals are difficult to pick up at times.

7/10

Re-hashed bits of previous films, one after the other. Cliché after cliché. Ridiculously implausible plotlines following each other. Incredibly cheesy.

Tremendous fun. Loved it.

Left those few of us who stayed and saw the extended post-credits scene wondering where they were going with a possible sequel.
