David wrote:Is Mayor Mike Whitmore a real character? Does he sing? Intrigued to see Bryan Cranston sing...the man's so diverse though.
The mayor sings in the musical, but not a lot. In the stage show he's played by the same actor who plays the character that Paul Giamatti will take on in the movie.

Nah, still Drew <3

I am just looking at IMDB and where are Regina, Hertz and Franz?? They better not be leaving out that entire storyline! Also sad to not see Waitress Number 1,they've probably given her a "proper" name in the film.

Yeah Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are just incredible. I'm such a big fan :D I'm sure Cranston will do his character justice in this!

Eek! A whole new thread overnight and already up to page 3. Is RoA (or are its fans here) mounting a takeover bid for FMUK? I must hurry up and see this show, if only to see what all the fuss is about...

I think its not going to be a camp movie, I think its going to be more serious, judging by the TC pictures. he's not glammed up or anything.

If it is going to be like the show then Russell should be Stacey Jaxx. I've seen him sing, he is pretty good and he can act differently to his normal persona given the chance. WAtching Shayne Ward, he is totally channeling Russell when he is on the prowl - I've seen it many a time and its extra ordinary watching the effect he has 8O
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

I agree, I think Russell would make a much better Stacee than Tom (after Shayne Ward and James Carpinello of course hehe)
