Saw this this morning at the Empire (screen 2, booh!); very fun film for both kids and grown ups; fantastic use of 3D!
(the best use of 3D since Despicable me imo)

8.5/10

Didn't anyone else go to see this yesterday? I saw it for the second time and loved it just as much. We went all the way to the O2 but couldn't get in to the famous balcony as it was reserved for special guests, and we just weren't special enough. Got there at 10:00 for 10:30 as the booking details specified but the film wasn't shown until 11:00. There was some entertainment, cleverly made balloon animals and coloured lollipops (no, I'm not too old) but basically we just sat watching people walking in at 10:50 trying to find seats and being surprised and annoyed to find that all the best seats were already taken.

How come it's only released now since its being out in the us since June?
I thought the previous ones were much better but I just watched it with the wife.

this started off quite weak but picked up for a good finale, so you deifnitely left the movie feeling good post the poor standards earlier. Seems to be a bad case of sequelitis, hopefully there wont be another one.

May see it in 3d to compare to the 2d version.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Should post, got the blu ray earlier this month, didn't sit through all of the first film, didn't even bother with the sequel, but everyone told me this was great, and they were right. Crazy good 3D, very very funny and really entertaining stuff.

Watch the sequel Mr. Runt. I hated the first one, but LOVED the second.
Plays out like a truly hilarious parody on everything from Airplane! to Planet of the Apes.
The third one too is awesome but, for the alternative viewer, part 2 is easily the best of the lot.
