This is coming up on Virgin Movies First, screenings this Saturday, tickets from tomorrow (which may mean late tonight).

Oh and McG - you saw this at the Quay not Braehead because I saw you going in as I was leaving!!

Our screening is less than half full but there's still time for latecomers cos they can't find the code for the projector lol

Wimbledon was half empty too. I guess it was such short notice that people were already busy with Christmas.

Well strangely enough this left me cold and I was looking at my watch all the time. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was incredibly well made, Naomi Watts did look like she was dying, of blood poisoning or gangrene whatever it was in her leg. The devastation left by the Tsunami looked like real footage, especially when you saw all the bodies in shrouds.

I cried at the documentaries about this, and normally cry at eveyrthing, but not for this. 7/10
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

@beate: no the name was Muriel Barnes (I think), the kids' was Schweber or something similar.

I started crying when the water came in and sobbed all the way; surprisingly when they finally reunite, I did not feel anything!
Naomie Watts was spectacular and I suffered with her at each of her steps!

I think I am slightly overrating it with my 8/10

Thought this was a really good film and the effects were very good and so realistic - 9/10.

Manchester was only about 1/2 full as well and we got mince pies and popcorn going in :D

Surprisingly, that's the only time I felt emotional during the film. Very good film but I wouldn't like to watch it again as it's too intense.

We also got mince pies and popcorn at Holloway Road. :D

Edinburgh only about 40% full and in addition to the popcorn we got a lovely mince pie each. V nice!

I sniffed and snivelled my way through this too.

It was very well acted and portrayed throughout. Glad Ewan kept his own accent as he's pretty rotten at doing any others. Naomi Watts slipped back to Aussie a few times but it didn't really detract at all.

A really good movie about a terrible real life story.

Great film with brilliant effects and emotional.

That was the Birmingham screening wasn't it? Surprised it wasn't that busy because usually there packed but perhaps it's because of the early morning start, but it's great it was at Birmingham Broadway Plaza instead of New Street because New Street is rubbish.

Also a great bonus to be given a mince pie.
