To previous posters ... you need to remind yourselves that this film has a target audience of girls between say, 4 and 8 years old ... no more, no less  It's not trying to be a Lion King or Toy Story for example.

From my perspective - excellent animation quality - 3D was decent enough - liked the storyline - length just about right.

From the 5 and 6 year olds with us - they gave it a resounding 10/10! Now that's what really matters isn't it?!

Surprisingly low turnout at Odeon Wester Hailes Edinburgh - maybe 20% full? Never witnessed such a low turnout in the last couple of years of attending previews. Disney need to look at how they publicise the availability of tickets methinks.

This was very pleasant. Low turnout in Manchester too today, but most of kids seemed to enjoy it.

The young girls in our group loved it and the adults enjoyed the fact in was about 70 minutes long! :D

The snow scenes made it feel more Christmassy than it probably is, but it was a good festive way to begin a day of tree decorating and roast dinner eating.

We weren't too sure about the stoner/surfer fairy though!

Yes, to spread word of mouth. You can't say that all free films are rubbish because that just isn't true!

Here's my review. I guess maybe if I was a six year old girl I might have appreciated it a bit more. Still, was nice to hear Tim Dalton in it, even if I was convinced it was Liam Neeson nearly all the way through.

Uh, no they're not... Some are free because they're not very well known so the film companies want to spread the word about them, others are rewards for loyal customers and can include major blockbusters (think Sky's previews of Avengers and The Hobbit), and those are just two out of many reasons. If you're implying that all free films are free because they're rubbish/can't get p*ying customers, then why are they previews (=shown before general release)? As the film isn't actually released yet they won't know how it'll do at the box office (they can only hope/guess), so to assume beforehand that a film they had faith in to make will be rubbish and so they'll have "free previews" seems a bit illogical.

Daughter saw this at Metrocentre. She isn't really into Disney anymore but she actually enjoyed it. My wife said it was busier than some of the other previews we've been to
