There are weekly releases but why no screenings? It doesn't make any sense!

Try 0... I missed the one free screening so far this year at the only venue I can get to as it was posted at just 2 hours notice by SFF and the forum, and I didn't see the notification until the film had been on for an hour!

I am very jealous of Beate who already has a 5 against their "100 free films 2014 club" signature

Yeah but by this time last year I'd already seen 7.

I begin to think I will be setting the opposite type of record, to which no-one here aspires, i.e. fewest previews (or even free films of any type) seen: only seen 4 films so far, all pa*d for, so not only none free, but I don't even have any free previews coming up, either, as so far they're all either Sun+, Times+ and/or on Tuesdays. If I gave up choir next term, I wonder if my luck would improve?

Sorry Ms Thrifty, but I beat you too - I've seen zero films! :p

The Sun+ timings haven't suited so far - I really miss the 6 for 7 shows at the O2, which I could always manage. 6 for 6.30 in a small cinema (so more chance of overallocation and a need to turn up early) just doesn't fit with my schedule.

Indeed, asamaic, but even if this were a competition, I expect we could agree that for once, no-one here would want to win!

There does appear to be an increasing trend of previews being offered by newspaper online subscription services; none too surprising as the newspapers are desperate for that business model to work. Not so good for us.
