The only thing I can think of when i've seen this on TV is that it looks awful! I don't understand the hype and probably won't be seeing it!

Want to see it, my 3 year old loves lego. But is it a film he'll enjoy watching? Any scary bits?

I plan on seeing this in the next week, can those who've already watched it tell me if I should book it in 2D or 3D? I have vouchers for both, so that's not an issue, but I'm wondering if 3D (= uncomfortable glasses over my own glasses) is worth it or not. Thanks.

Tbh I didn't notice the 3D much so don't think it added anything special on this occasion.

Cool, thanks for letting me know! I prefer 2D anyway, so it's good to know I won't miss out on much :)

Stuart Heritage wrote a piece for yesterday's Guardian about going to see this alone, though he seems not to say why he did so, nor why in that case he b*ght 2 tickets. He's a bit slow getting round to seeing it, but good on how awkward a solo cinemagoer can feel, especially if not part of the target market for the film in question:

I saw this at Edinburgh Filmhouse this morning.

It was awesome to coin one of their phrases!

Really funny and lots for the grown ups to laugh along to/at. Clever background posters and the like too.

We know a bloke called Emmet and he's not the most dynamic, but a lovely bloke - that added something!
