Saw this last night in Glasgow and a very quiet showing!

Not my kind of film at all, really didn't enjoy it. Felt like time dragged and as others said more of a tv show than a film. In saying that, had it been on tv, I'd have turned it over!

In saying that, a very interesting topic and the music was great.

Only 3/10 from me.

First 10 minutes or so were really boring and I was ready to walk out. I am glad I stuck with it because it was actually not a bad documentary. Not sure who would go to the cinema to watch this though... Seemed more suited to Tv.. I dont think it will be long before it appears on the small screen.

Bit late seeing this (thank goodness I hadn't attended a free preview, though, as then I'd have had nothing left to see) but caught up with it yesterday morning as I needed to use or lose a voucher and the timing fitted in well with my theatre bookings.

Not the best documentary I've seen (though I much prefer fiction in film, as in books), but perfectly respectable, if very standard in its format. I certainly enjoyed it and never found it boring, so 7.5/10 from me.

Hi, Just been to see 20 feet from stardom a really good insight into the backing singers role and life. Many interesting stories about how some backing singers tried to become major stars in thiere own right the most famous probably being Darlene Love who eventualy was recognised and enrolled inthe Rock and Roll hall of fame. Well worth seeing for anyone with a interest in music.
