Just back from the Proposal.

The usual rom com elements are all present and correct.

Thought it started very slowly but some very amusing moments.

For me Ramone made the film. He was fab!

I'm quite a strict marker so would give it a 5/10.

what did you all think?

7/10 from me !! enjoyable funny if anything maybe not enough character interaction in seeing them fall for each other however its just a nice movie with lots of funny bits.

I enjoyed it, but I do like my chick flicks :red:

A few late comers but everyone settled down and there was a really good atmosphere with people laughing along the whole way through. Also thought Sandra Bullock was really good.

Nothing very original and wouldn't watch it again but if someone wanted to watch a girly dvd then it's not a bad one to watch. Better than confessions of a shopaholic!

7/10

The Proposal - Norwich, Bit predictable but funny moments. 5/10 a girly movie really. Why though would anyone in their right mind take a toddler to a preview screening in the evening and let it munch popcorn, crush plastic cups, sing, chat and generally disrupt the movie? Come to think of it how did the family get three tickets because he even had a seat of his own in a full cinema, there really are some incredibly selfish people out there :nono: .

I've just made it back from Silverlink, which was pretty full and the seats comfortable! It was what I expected it to be. I liked the development of the relationship between Sandra Bullock and Ryan Roberts. There were some strong supporting actors as well, who had some of the best lines. I agree Ramone was funny, but that dance routine... aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!
The film was set in Alaska, and the scenery was stunning. A very pleasant, though not sensational film.

6/10 from me. :D

oooo the silverlik was very comfy wasn't it andrews, shame i never saw you til the end.
anyway t'was more enjoyable than i thought'd it'd be so 6/10 from me,
and just to inform anjirose, i was sitting next to that wifey and she wasn't crying, but laughing cos someone she was with with either did a wass-eye fart or made a noise that sounded like one, hence the fit of giggles from her and the stern look from me.

Oh so that's why she was laughing - I thought I had missed something!

Sorry I have to admit, I had a wee blub at the Silverlink Cinema in a couple of parts and always enjoy a happy ending..... not ashamed to admit it, and dont really think its so bad :O( Really enjoyed the film and I want to go to Alaska now.
