Critics have predicted it will be one of the hits of the London Film Festival. The Telegraph's Tim Robey gave it a glowing write-up in his four-star review.

WILD, starring Reese Witherspoon, is the true story of a woman's attempt to complete a gruelling 1,100-mile hike across the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountains on the west coast of America.

Adapted from the best-selling memoir by writer Cheryl Strayed, who embarked on the journey - despite no hiking experience - to escape a traumatic divorce and a chaotic personal life, the film documents her struggle to come to terms with both the unforgiving landscape and her own internal demons.

The London Film Festival Gala screening, on Monday 13 October at the Odeon Leicester Square, London, will be attended by Witherspoon, Strayed and the best-selling author Nick Hornby, who wrote the screenplay. Fox Searchlight is giving Telegraph readers the chance to be there on the red carpet too.

To enter, simply tweet #WildPremiere @searchlightuk. Winners will be selected at random. Guests will arrive for the LFF Gala screening of WILD from 6pm. Watch the trailer for WILD here.
