Don't forget Jon Favreau - he's found more success as a director (Elf, Iron Man), but as an actor, he's just money...

Gutted!!!

More tickets again today, but my email subscription decided it was gonna pick this film not to notify me. I've been getting all the notification about films I'm not interested in (Crimson Wing), but when there's a film I'm keen to watch... it throws a strop!

Typical

It seems to be getting some very bad reviews, on Rotten Tomatoes so far it only has an 8% fresh rating and lots of people on IMDB are saying how bad it was after seeing advanced screenings.
I was hoping it was going to be on the levels of Forgetting Sarah Marshall but still i tend to enjoy a lot of films everyone else says are rubbish so i may enjoy this.

Sounds as though if you are going to see it, it'd be best to do so before the reviews are published. But unless some more previews come up, I won't have the chance.

I saw the trailer for the film on TV last night and yes it looked horrendous. I wouldn't go if it wasn't for a free preview. It looked silly and unfunny, but we shall see tomorrow...

I was surprised there weren't more previews for this, but perhaps the distributors lost their nerve? On the "Too many films at once" thread, I was tempted to say "all right for some" and to point out that some people have no previews at all this week, as both this film and "An Education" are only on in selected areas. But maybe it's no great loss. Also, pa*d previews start the very day after the free one.
