Why was Up moved from 16th to 9th, what's out next week to battle it, Dr. Parnassus? And it's closer to half term too...

I have no idea! I can't believe they didn't think of this before. It probably would have sold better in half term too.

I asked Odeon what happened and this is what they replied:
This film had a very short run as it was released in 3D format in advance of Toy Story 3 due out in 2010 and has now been replaced by the new 3D film Up.

The average run for a film is three weeks. We are not sure if the film company will wish to show it again but if you check online every Tuesday when we receive the new programme you will be able to find out if it is showing.
I guess there's no chance then.

Well they sound really disorganised, the film company and Odeon! I am sure we can do a better job than them.

Now I am really confused, it's showing in the LFF, so I can't imagine it's in the cinemas already.

Well didn't you say it's TS2 in the LFF screening superh? Cos TS2 doesn't come out until Feb 2010. TS1 however came out a week ago and finished within a week... Guess thats why they aren't showing it.... :(
