Really enjoyed the film - good comedy and quite entertaining. Bit on the predictable side, but a charming film, with some great snowboarding. 7/10.

This was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. A good cast who seemed to interact well together and although you knew how it would end from the very beginning it was just perfect for a dull and dreary Sunday morning. It's a typical unoffensive feelgood romcom and yes another one just like it will come along in a couple of months but hey it does what it says on the tin.

A 7/10 from my gang.

Great skiing boarding and stunts, even though I have never seen the attraction of thw whole Ski Scene. 7/10
Exactly, but I do get the skiing its good fun. Watched this at a very quiet Didsbury 7/10

I realy enjoyed this film which surprised me a lot as i'm not normally the greatest fan of the rom/com... pleasant, funny, light hearted feel good entertainment perfectly balanced not too much shmultzy sentimental yuk in it and and predictable ending but no matter how predictable the ending very much feel good :D loved the characters very well played by all i say!!

8/10 on me for this one

Very predictable chick flick, but loved the scenery. The main girl looked really young compared to everyone else (I know she was supposed to be 19 but she looked about 15!), still pleasant enough for a Sunday morning. 7/10.

I saw this at Didsbury also, much better than I was expecting not bad for my 1st freebie of the New Year, 7/10 from me also, agree with the credits at the end funny and worth staying for. Stayed on and watched The King's Speech afterwards, 2nd freebie of the year, excellent film :D

light romcom, no big punches but then it didnt need it with its exciting snowboarding intermissions and icy fresh guitar riffs. i liked the lead girl, downplayed as 'just another' chick, which is just as well becos its impossible to root for a bunch of posh twats (which the other characters were). nonsense plot though, who'd enter a 1-100 odds competition in which the need to spend vast sums, in order to gain vast sums? kinda dumb, but you soon get past that when you start rooting for the likeable Kim. Some very rubbish romantic scenes, btw. But that dont matter cos its a chick flick, say no more. Notting Hill its not, but pleasant enough all the same. So....Just Chill!

i'd like to try snowboarding, but for some stupid reason the university club charges extortionate fees for its events. Not sure i'd go to all that trouble for it, its a pity the sport prices people like me out of it, i'm sure a basic unpainted blooming board doesnt need to cost more than 30 quid! £540 for a snowboarding long weekend excluding gear?? - bloody stupid student union!! i hope movies like this further popularise the sport so that costs of it can fall and become mor popular.

Light and fluffy Brit Rom Com which was surprisingly entertaining and actually had a fairly decent plot and some good actors.

Edinburgh was only 20% full this morning which surprised me.

I really enjoyed it and it cheered me up. No brain power required.
