That was the pig-ess in front of me. For some bizarre reason, she just grunted every now and then.Beate wrote:I believe someone in the audience made a noise but I am not quite sure what kind of noise, LOL - was he snoring?

Re: No Strings Attached
FAther ended up with the glasses lady, sister ws having a baby and shouting how she hated the husband. I can't remember the rest, oh yeah spooning with clothes onmattgad wrote:Really enjoyed this film. Was the perfect mix of romance and comedy - with great humour all the way through. The period mix CD was my favourite part.
Definitely worth a watch, 9/10.
But I do realise that I walked out before the extra bits came on - can anyone tell me what happened?

Re: No Strings Attached
Great, didn't miss anything then.
Re: No Strings Attached
This was an utterly forgettable romcom with some scattered laughs. I don't regret watching it though as Ashton and Portman were good together. Just realised how tall he guy is next to her diminutive frame! Shame the script did not deliver.

Terrible, didn't laugh once. Think someone said meh, couldn't agree
more.
Glad I went though cos I really, really enjoyed the short film before the film, more heart and joy in that than the whole of the main film.
Did it get shown everywhere, what did people think?

Re: No Strings Attached
Had tickets for True Grit at Ocean Terminal but this was too far for me to get to as I was working at the other side of town so went to Lothian Road to see this instead. Absolutely packed not a single empty seat left. Got popcorn as we went in which was unexpected.
The film was average nothing special. A couple of funny moments but kept wishing I had got to True Grit instead. 5/10

Re: No Strings Attached
Quite enjoyed this film tonight, a light-hearted rom-com ideal for mid week viewing. Agree that Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher carried the film, not enough use was made of the supporting actors. Some of the jokes made were a bit crude but seem to appeal to the younger members of the audience judging by their laughter.
Shame that the screening room was only about half full, the Odeon Switch Island, Livepool doesn't get many previews nowadays, I'm finding that we're having to to travel to the Odeon in the city centre.
The free popcorn was a nice touch.
