Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
Opened my Hunderby, Touch of Cloth and Chicago Code accounts, courtesy of Sky Go.
Hunderby...clearly a costume drama but its also a comic tale, yep? Its not out and out comedy though, a gentle costumedy perhaps is the word I am looking for.
Touch of Cloth - half the gags dont work but some of them are funny. This could work, it certainly has enough material to work with. I am sure I am missing some of the references to detective/cop series.
Chicago Code - I cant watch too many cop shows now! love it.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents - Series 2 episodes 7 and 8 (great drama even though only 24 minutes long including titles and opening Hitchcock monologues - 1956 !)
Gavin and Stacey - Series 1 - Episode 3 (its taken me a long time to watch this...not for me laugh out loud funny at this time but will persevere)

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
I agree, they always put them on late though. I have noticed a severe lack of decent b&w's in the past few years even at christmas. I always looked forward to watching daily/nightly Laurel&Hardys/Marx bros and other classics. Saw the African Queen a few days ago though on film4.
Watched Bad Education, hope this goes on for another series.

and i think the Hitchcocks, Laurel and Hardys etc etc would be relatively in expensive to show and popular at the same timeannabrett wrote:I agree, they always put them on late though. Carnage - Two pairs of parents hold a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a fight. An interesting short film, with Good performances from all four actors - 7/10
