4th time lucky o/ After having tickets for all 3 screenings and not getting to see it with Capital FM on Saturday, :( then on Sunday :tears: in February and after that not being able to get to Virgin screening on 3rd of March  we finally saw it yesterday!!! :cheer:
I had a "child goes free" voucher valid till 10th of March, so I used that and so it wasn't that bad moneywise... considering we had a private screening 8O on a BIG screen!!! It was just us!!! (and we moved to premier seats).... Well, we did enjoy it!!! and having no distraction of smaller children and inconsiderate parents helped a lot!!! It is rated correctly - PG- which is for 8+, and it is enjoyable for children after 8, especially boys, as some characters are quite grim looking... Yes, it slows down a bit somewhere after an hour or so but then picks up again at the end!!! As it was mentioned before the animation is superb and the soundtrack is great!!! :T I would happily watch it again and my child would do as well or b*y the DVD when it comes out. :thanks: :thanks: to funthing29 for adding to our enjoyment!!!

at first you'd think you are watching some Terry Gilliam adaptation, but really the film is too good for him - certainly, at least, its too good for the current off-the-burn Gilliam.

A decent genre-crosser that would make a good introduction to a the western genre for kids. A bit trippy, thats one of its elements that could put people off, the others beinga hectic pace and the occasional lazy lapse in script and dialogue. Additionally the western purist might not like the anachronisms but they are played for laughs rather than as faults. These points aside, this film is greater than the sum of its parts and demands a 2nd viewing. 8/10 Maybe plus 0.5 for the Mexican Owl musicians - they were wonderful.

and Timmy Olyphant could easily play the Man With No Name!

Really funny and refreshing. Not quite as good animation in my opinion as Toy Story 3 or Tangled, but I enjoyed it immensely nonetheless.

I enjoyed seeing this for the first time last night in a very quiet edinburgh. Loved the spirit of the west, quite a few laughs shame it was so quiet.

I saw it at the Trocadero Cineworld but was too ill / tired to enjoy it 100%
Yet I found it pretty cool and smart. Maybe too scary for kids (injured characters and a lot of murder/death talk)
