Great night at Manchester Printworks tonight at the Mountain Dew screening of X Men First Class.

We were greeted by a green carpet and two photo areas, one for a snapshot where we could pose as the X Men and the other which eventually ended up on our own personalised Empire cover.

Inside the huge screen was a DJ and the seats were covered in drinks, popcorn, sweets and a copy of Empire each. And under some of seats were green envelopes containing prize vouchers. There were a few empty seats so the alert akh43 grabbed a few extra and we all ended up with a DVD of the original X Men trilogy.

Thanks to akh43 and Betty Botter for the tickets and to them and CLXO for the company

Of course the film was really good second time around as well, a top night o/

I agree great night and company and due to the empty seats came home with a bag full of drinks and chocs (I am always prepared with fold up bag in my handbag for such opportunities) :shifty:

Ashamed to say never seen an X-Men film before but really enjoyed this film tonight at The Printworks. Thanks to akh43, yogi and CLXO for their company and especially CLXO for the extra sweets ;)

This film X Men : First Class, is on Terrestial TV, Channel 4 Saturday 17th May at 9pm - until 11.35pm :P
