Hi Everyone,

I'm Luke. Quite new to the community so would like to introduce myself. This site is great and I think it's a real privilege being part of it.

Look forward to participating in more discussions in the future.

Long live free movies! :D

Hi,
I usually haunt MSE - and it has saved me a fortune over the years :D

Unfortunately I live in Leicestershire - unfortunate as Leicester doesn't get that many free screenings, but I am grateful for all those I do get to.

I cannot believe that I have been missing out of free previews for years, and amazed that it is not more widely known about.
Also, in a way, quite grateful, as the fewer people chasing tickets means at least I have a chance of getting the occasional free night out. ;)
But I have noticed in the last year that screenings are tending to be fuller - and often now unable to get any tickets, even when there are screenings here.

I do tell all my family and friends about the free previews, and often get tickets for my DS who is a student in Nottingham - which gets much more free screenings than Leicester.
Much too far to make it worthwhile for me to get tickets for myself and travel there - take ages and cost a fortune in petrol, so not very money-saving ;)

Hi, I’m Louise from Old Coulsdon in Surrey. I found this site through MSE and still haven’t got my head around that I can see films for free! 8O Unfortunately have not yet seen a free preview as most cinemas offering them are too far away or the tickets have already gone :( .

I’m married and we both enjoy films. We gave up going to the cinema as it was expensive and instead have a postal subscription for DVDS, getting through a minimum of 3 a week, in addition to any on TV that takes our fancy. We love most films, but especially enjoy foreign and independent films.

Last film we saw in the cinema after many years away was the new Star Trek film which we both thought would be good on the big screen and it was ! o/
