watched some castoffs from 2012, the Titanic Symphony by Robin Gibb. This is the magnificent magnus opus swansong of Gibb, and its a little too long but works well with the projections of the Titanic's journey behind it. Oddly enough the most memorable part was Gibb's solo song near the end, which you'd normally think was misplaced and a bit poor really as a ballad, but the performance is creepily embossed by his near death and the terribly haggard look on his face during the performance, like a gothic Gollum or one of those lost silent screaming souls clutching their heads in that notable painting by some famous guy. Haunting indeed.

It has already been renewed for a second series of 8 episodes which will air in 2014. ;)

Black Mirrors. A lot of hype surrounding this especially after the rights for an episode were secured to adapt it for the big scree.

I was very unimpressed. Have they all been this bad? Vulgar and inane, I will not be catching up on demand.

White Collar. Just discovering the show and loving it. Nice and easy, with just the right amount of fun and eye candy :)

Masterchef the Professionals - BBC2 (not sure of the purpose of this programme to be honest...)
Lightfields - ITV (another excellent drama)
