Guys - Are we going to have a football thread this season??????

I can already hear the sighs from Beate.................

And before anyway says anything, the second Chelsea goal today was valid because the ref had made the decision to play on as Man u had the advantage but Ballack was disgraceful and as a Chelsea fan I do not support that type of play under any circumstances but it does look like this season could be a doozie!

I wouldn't know why. I saw a trailer today and it looks like an action thriller for the boys, yes, but without much substance. There is one bomb diffuser who takes his protective clothing off before he goes to work as he "wants to be comfortable if dying". What kind of macho nonsense is that?

Beate, fyi it's directed by a woman. The writer of Blue Steel, no less. Macho action film? Hardly.

So? What does that prove? Surveillance was directed by a woman and that was the sickest bit of sh*t I have watched in a long time. The trailer makes it look like a macho action film.

I think you'll find The Hurt Locker is not a Steven Seagal movie, and nor does it look like one :p
