Apparently she did it because she thought it would be funny. As a 45 year old bank worker she has a very strange sense of humour and I have to say that if she worked in any of the banks I use I would refuse to be served by her.
I would shove the witch in the wheelie bin and let her rot in hell :x
So sorry to hear about your cat destresserai you must be heartbroken

Beate don't worry I'm on the next train to London to help you with the sweets :P

hey, thanks! It was very yummy - that was demolished in no time by me and my son! Nice touch to give us a wooden knife and fork to eat it with, but we didn't! :D

Right well, so the BFI Southbank showed the new digitalised Metropolis with an added 27 minutes as a premiere today at 6pm. The screening, even though in the biggest screen they have, was quickly sold out, but a couple of us managed to get free tickets through eventbrite. Only that the BFI did not know anything about those tickets and could not find them on the system, after they had made us wait for 30 minutes and said we were on a guest list. Really, no one there knows what the others do or say. Made me think about the comp for the next Film Funday, where they managed to sell the tickets that had been put aside for the comp winners - so the comp had to be cancelled. Anyway, so we tried to argue with the manager, we showed them all the paperwork, to no avail. "Can't find it on the system, have never heard of it. You are welcome to b*y tickets for it though". By this time the returns queue for the film had reached epic proportions. We had given a spare ticket to the first guy in the queue and he raced off to b*y a ticket after it became clear we were not going to get anywhere - luckily he still got one. We could have got some too but weren't really that bothered - it was the principle of being denied tickets regardless of a ticket confirmation, and being told to b*y them instead. Bad customer service. So the next thing I am going to do is write a sharp complaint to the eventbrite people.

We then went to Pizza Express to at least get a nice meal on the Tastelondon card, but when I wanted to p*y with the £25 voucher I got from you guys they told me it wouldn't go through the machine as I hadn't registered it on the website yet! I never knew I had to!!! I can't find where to register either, so can anyone help please? Their customer service line is closed now. :wall:

Well, I don't think it is Eventbrite - as I have got tickets through them before. I think it is the BFI Public Relations Department who did not speak to the Box Office. The complaint should be to BFI. Eventbrite are just the middle men. I think you should write to BFI too!

Yes but they are the ones responsible for sending out the confirmations so they will have to take care of the complaint. I will complain to both parties, don't worry, I always do. Let them fight it out between them.

Check to see if your gift card is already activated by clicking here and checking your balance - if you have a balance then your gift card is ready to use!

Can I use my card straightaway?
All cards are already activated if purchased from a store, and most cards that come from our customer service centre are activated if they are under £100. The best way to check if your card is ready to use is to check your balance on the link above. If your card shows a balance, then it is activated

Hope that helps!
