Hi,

I've recently had my eyes opened to the world of free cinema and this site seems to be a god send!

I'm from London but I'm studying in Manchester - somewhere that is notoriously hard to get free tickets for.

I've recently tried to post a number of times on the Free Films section of the forum but it always just says that my post needs to be checked by a moderator? I've received an email saying my account will be deactivated in 2 weeks if I don't post but I have been trying to post!

Anyway this site is incredible and hopefully I can be a valued member of the FMUK community,

There is usually a reason if a post doesn't turn up, especially on Free Films. I'd really advise you to read the Forum rules before you post on Free Films as chat, duplicates and a number of other things are not allowed on there and I wouldn't want members unnecessarily alerted if it's not a totally new code.

I'll add that sometimes a new member will post a new code, but before anyone can approve it someone else may have posted the same one.
So in that case, without the person having done anything wrong, we'd have to disapprove the post - even though it was the first instance of the code - because the email alerts will have already gone out.
It's another reason why it's really best to start on another board, like this topic, so that when you're the first to post a code it'll go through unmoderated.

I have just found this site and like everyone here, I love cinema (especially free cinema).

I have an interest in documentary, archive, and independent films. My favourite cinema is Picturehouse Clapham, and City Screen in York (great food at the cafe).

Looking forward to catching up on films that have escaped me!

Hi, I'm Sam. Don't get out to the cinema as much as I'd like to but recently have been to see Skyfall, Life of Pi and Les Misèrables - loved all of them!!! Saw Les Mis free preview with a code from a Sunday paper so googled how to get free tickets and came upon this site :-)
