Btw, for anyone who's interested, I finally got to speak to someone at PizzaExpress Customer Service and they said there is no excuse in the restaurant not to take my gift card - they don't need activating and even if the card reader is not reading it, they can phone the number on the back and get confirmation of how much is on it. Wish I had know this sooner!

grrr! isn't that frustrating, after all that! They should compensate for all the inconvenience it has caused you! :P

You should do one or the other, i.e. either cook or wash up, not both! :P You spoil him!

Yesterday, when I was in Debenhams having a jolly good rake about, I came across their Christmas cards, crackers and decorations. I was drawn towards them like a magnet. I didn't b*y anything, but I looked. Scary.

lol Actually, Si is really good in the kitchen so I definitely can't complain. And I'm talking about cooking/cleaning - get yer mind outta the gutter ;) But seriously, I only cook his favourite food (the unhealthy, calorie-loaded stuff I cooked last night - mashed potatoes with tonnes of butter?? eek) when he needs spoiling. And he usually does the washing up in return . I've got a PhD in nagging which helps :p
