Public sector, what do you expect? I'm looking to move but everywhere I look, everyone is restructuring at the moment that if I were to get a new job, I could be landing myself right in the middle of a supposed advertised permanent job being deleted from it's structure. I wish so bad I could retire. :( I hope they are easy on you when you return to work.
I'll feed back on my return; I went to Paris 6 years ago and the people are so friendly I remember dropping my scarf in a restaurant and this "gentleman" dived across the restaurant to rescue it. I will check out the metro etc with a view to having a buggy with you, if there's anything you want me to find out while I'm there just let me know.

I've done both Normandy and the Loire Atlantique with toddlers and they are so beautiful and very easy with babys.

Beate, you've now got me wanting to go to Provence; just googled it and WOW.

The public sector aren't all bad, I've never had a problem with leave we just look out for each other; my friend is covering for me when I'm in Paris and I'm returning the favour when she goes to Norway. So hope fully you will also work with nice people :cross:

Thanks lt!

Oh Portugal is beautiful although it maybe abit chilly in May I hear. Where are you going? Algarve? I was thinking of going in May too (instead of Italy) but don't like the idea of not sunbathing (incase it's cold -- I like it 30+) so stuck with Italy instead.

Hey, aren't you about 19 yourself?!!! You need a chaperone too!!!! I'm sur eyou'll have a fab time. Where are you going with your counsin's friend? Not Ibizia I hope. :|

Theres honestly too much stuff to name one thing outright, I persnally LOVE the Men In Black Alien Shootout(you go around in little cars with laser guns ;D), the jurassic park boat ride which is a mix of jeep motion, ending in the boat(very well done), the duelling dragons ride(now part of the hary potter area, ill be ure to pst pictures once we've been :))
A similar thing to the backstage tour ride in disneyland paris(with all the props, the flood on the cliff and the reign of fire set) except with twister(very cool), earthquake(yes its scary D:) and the part where I pooped mypants for the first time...jaws. (please dont judge me, Im highly aware that it was a fat ass plastic shark!)

In my two trips to Florida, I visited both of the Universal Studios parks about 8 separate times. After coming back home on both occasions, I cried because I missed it so much. I LOVED the Jurassic Park Ride, Mummy Ride, Jaws Ride, Men in Black Alien Attack (I got a massive high score with my dad, we pressed the red button at the same time), the ET ride, the Hulk coaster, the earthquake ride and basically everything else there. Makes me emotional just talking about it :(
