Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
watched the Fall, the N. Ireland serial killer story. Very difficult to understand the motives of the killer but I guess that makes it more interesting, but certainly didn't feel any sympathy for him. There was grey area in a lot of the characters which helped make it realistic. Pretty gripping stuff obviously Nordically inspired. Why 'The Fall' though as a title?
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Just been watching a storm in Manchester but no lightening - I too can watch them for hours as I find them fascinating.newdot wrote:A fantastic lightening & thunder storm that went on for hours!
It was fantastic, I have always loved storms & this was great. Grabbed a large glass of wine and watched from underneath my porch.
What a relief after all this heat.

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
Jurassic Park double bill of part 1 & 2 (part 3 to be watched tonight).
Still enjoyable after all these years. Surprised by the amount of puppetry & animatronics were used (as opposed to pure cgi) in both films. By far the majority of the shots of the dinosaurs (grrraaaawww) are not cgi at all.
Changed my avatar in honour of these films (not sure if i like, may change back)

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
Well, it aired in America last night, but today I watched So You Think You Can Dance, pretty much my favorite show. I guessed who would be eliminated this week, though to be fair I felt it obvious that they were the weakest two left. Its gotten to the point where all 6 girls who are left I absolutely adore and will be upset when they go home, but with the boys I like them all but only really connect to one, so its him all the way!
I used to be a dancer, and would still do it if I didn't have injuries which prevented it, so being able to watch this show with its incredibly high level of quality and choreography on another level makes me happy and is one of my favorite parts of summer, such a shame there was only one UK season!

So you think you can dance UK lacked something. BBC dont tend to do the "talent reality" show too well....

Did it? I think I was in America when it aired so I never knew about it until they featured the winner on the American show. Didn't love her, but was pleased they had the show in the UK, unfortunate it didn't do well. But no worries, I'll stick to the American version. I love it.MrD wrote:So you think you can dance UK lacked something. BBC dont tend to do the "talent reality" show too well....
