Another fab night out: First went to the Mostyn Hotel for a Clarins' mini massage, makeover, champagne and canapes. Won the raffle - had a choice of a manicure (had that done recently), a cut and blow dry (don't trust anyone except my own hairdresser), a bottle of wine (I think I had too much to drink already), and a pedicure (yep that will do me fine!) then off to the Jalouse Club Mayfair for more cocktails and canapes, and a photoshoot on a motorbike and dancing, live entertainment and a DJ booth sponsored by Dom Perignon!

The Oktoberfest evening at the nearby pub was great, but I'm so glad I booked as it was already busy when we arrived and packed by the time we left - people who had taken a chance were being turned away. The band were dressed appropriately and the food was fabulous (chef worked in Germany for 5 years). OH enjoyed sampling some of the guest beers, brewed in places we'd visited. I asked one of the bar staff if they would be doing any more events with German food and she said it was going really well so maybe next year. Next year! I don't want to wait that long!
