Am off to see this film this evo (thanks to kindly offered tickets)... it looks easy to watch and really silly and sometimes thats just want you need.... a good laugh (I know I do)., I hope it allows me that.

Brilliant.

The obvious comparisons are with Shaun of the Dead - channel 4 comedian at the movies, a British take on a genre film and of course Nick Frost - but this is grittier, scarier and treats
the set up more seriously.

That doesn't mean it isn't funny, it is, but never strays towarda camp or spoof. Dotted throughout is some social commentary, but nothing that holds up the story.

A big thumbs up from me, my joint film if the year so far. (no pun intended) o/

I watched this in in Edge Lane, Liverpool. Pretty bad place to watch a film anyway and was surrounded by students, the girl next to me was THE noisiest eater ever. How can you eat popcorn so LOUDLY. Very annoying. Not helped by this awful film. Not a fan of Nick Frost at the best of times, but he was one of the better things about this film. The best thing about this film however, was that it was short. Could have been shorter!!! 4.5/10 and thats generous.

Watched this at Wandsworth and was lucky to get seats. People were sitting on the steps :shifty:
Anyways was way better than i expected. Really funny moments in it and some predictable but all in all. I loved it. 7/10

This film was very gritty, jumpy in places, I personally loved the aliens and thought they were quite original compared with other typical slimy looking aliens, the first few minutes did make me a bit on edge
(the whole mugging incident with the knife involved, and I HATE knives)
, chav talk did slightly annoy me but once the story got going I didnt really take notice and the idiotic things that Pest said were classic but all round didnt really do it for me

4/10
