I wondered where you were Beate -- I headed to the middle, about 4/5 rows from the back as that's where we sat the night before (seats recommended by Bevvy). The view was good but you are right that it is almost impossible to get out in the middle of the film if you need to as the seats are so tight to the row in front. Bad cinema for that. But it was a nice get together beforehand and very glad to see everyone.

We were actually ending up in the same row as you, just at the end of the row, LOL. I tried to wave but you didn't see me I suppose.

Sorry I didn't see you -- I'm always blind when entering the cinema. Other cinemas are easier because I just look at the back row and see you there!

You could have come later, it actually says 4.30pm on my confirmation. Lots of people arrived well after 6pm and it was still going strong at 7.30pm when they said it was supposed to end. The registration desk was still open too.

I also thought no one would turn up being so wet yesterday but it had stopped raining after 3pm. Although Pimlico seems a long way on the map, it only took me 20 minutes to get there, so I had nearly not gone either!

How can I come later if I have a film in the evening?

I think the less I say about the food and drinks at the Xperia launch event the better ( I like my noodles, but would you call fried chicken noodles in a box, canapes? )
The brilliant thing was the set they built for the event, it looked like something out of Blade Runner or the chinatown scene in The Sorcerer's Apprentice. They clearly spent their whole budget on the set. There was a large scale model helicopter, there was a car that looked like a Gran Torino, there were lots of neon signs mixed with some red lanterns. They even went into the smaller details, in some corner you had some old VHS tapes.
It must be the season of the launches, HTC phones is doing their launch party on the 12th April

After the Red Riding Hood screening, went to an opening function and saw a few people and I was quite surprised, I saw Liz from the Apprentice (the one who might have beaten Stella). She was wearing the skimpiest skirt imaginable, I thought she was the conservative office type. She was definitely more Jordan than Stella. There was also Julian Bennett my friend told me (I don't know many TV stars I am afraid) and Richard Branson (I should have asked him about doing more Virgin film previews!!)

Just came back from a corporate function and wow!!, they showed the world's first diamond ring.
Not any diamond ring, but the whole thing was made of diamonds (the normal metal bits were made of diamond). It's worth £43 million 8O
Even if I win the lottery I can't b*y it for you, a_person...
