Re: The Skin I Live In
after yesterday's failure I finally saw this tonight!
The movie has finished half an hour ago and I just can't stop thinking about it... what a strange feeling (well I am the kind of person who forgets almost everything as the credits roll down!)
I won't spoil anything and tell you everything about it, I would just agree with everybody else here, it is definitely worth a watch! (especially if you have vouchers near to expire lying around!)
Thanks SF, you comments convinced me to give it a go and I don't regret it
8/10

Re: The Skin I Live In
The only two things I am going to say about this movie is that Almodovar is a genius and Banderas is ageing pretty well
as I don't even want to run the risk of spoiling it for everyone. Most definitely worth a watch 9/10

Agree with Celini and Reddie2 totally - what a film and I'm refusing to tell anyone what it's about as I want them to have the experience of gradually realising (with disbelief) what is really going on like I did. Only Almovodar could pull this off and you'll never forget this film.

Thoroughly enjoyed this film. Won't be for everyone as there are some pretty disturbing undertones but I loved it.
I always feel apprehensive scoring acting well in a foreign language as reading the subtitles I feel detracts from the acting somewhat, but well worth an 8 out of 10

Cineworld just said that it's a sort of arthouse answer to the Human Centipede - erm, WHAT?
