Huge demand for Titanic 3D Valentine's Day's screenings crash website.

Tickets for international previews of 3D re-release sell out within hours and crash multiple servers.

'Titanic' is apparently the perfect Valentine's Day movie.

The website giving away special Valentine's Day tickets of the film, which is being re-released in 3D later this year, crashed after enormous demand from fans.

The film doesn't open in theatres until 6 April, but 20th Century Fox decided to hold free previews at various cities around the world (including the UK) on 14 February.

So many fans logged on that multiple servers crashed within hours.

See the trouble we cause sometimes - perfect Valentine's Day movie - but will my OH go with me???? :tears:

The only reason I'll be crying will be because I won't have a boyfriend to hug.
So I might bring Walter :shifty:

Maybe it was one of the cinema websites that crashed.

I am still undecided if I will see this. It's a later start and the thought of wearing 3D glasses for 3 hours is not an attractive thought.

Are you going to the O2 or Haymarket?
We can, but just to let you know: he's not my boyfriend, he's my kid, so don't try to hit on him! :nono:

I think Haymarket as most people are going there? I now have tickets to both though, so I'll decide closer to the date depending on what everyone else does!

You have a 30 year-old kid?

Yes I do! And he gets on very well with 3 year-old Elmo. I think he's younger in his head.
