Didn't think this was nearly as bad as some of the reviews here have made it out to be.
Not to say I enjoyed it, but I was never bored and it actually shifted into quite an intriguing direction once we got to the final medium scene.
Creepy.
Sigmund Freud would have a party with it.
Clever use of the thoroughly intoxicating title track. Like the lead character, I never tired of it even once.

Re: Café de Flore
The beginning was confusing and almost annoying but it quickly started to make sense after 30min.
It is well written, well played, and more moving than I thought it would be. The crazyness of losing the loved one, seing them to love someone else, is really well spread: depression, behaviour change, hatred, sacrifice... It was a good surprise as the trailer didn't make me want to watch the film.
A bit too long though.

Re: Café de Flore
I watched this today. Its a film about love alright but not as coy as i had initially perceived it be. It was about various types of love. parental, sexual, soulful and....dangerous obsession.
I agree with Octopus, it was terribly confusing in the first half hour but i figured it will all come together and surley it did. its a real jigsaw type editting and I dont blame others for getting put off. I just went with the flow. Its an admirable film and I enjoyed it especially its intriguing conclusion. Not sure if i agree with its message but its certainly a clearcut one.
