I missed this as a preview but caught it last night. I thought it a rather whimsical tale but it seemed sadly lacking in Glasgow humour. The funniest scene featuring Edinburgh Castle had been seen so many times in trailers and sound bites etc. that it was seen coming a mile away and fell flat for me. I also found the acting to be rather wooden too. I am presuming that it was partly improvised rather than scripted. Certainly that's how it came across. I did notice the distillery guide fluffing one it two of her lines too. The first half for me was like watching events in real life - a bit mundane and not very exciting. I also found it all a bit shortbread tinny. Lots of cliched characaturing of Scottishness.
Unfortunate not nearly as good as I was expecting and anticipating for over 2 years. Glad I never pa*d to see it. Looks like I am in a minority of one though.

Cineworld Unlimited is cheating! ;-)

Sometimes I sits and thinks....and sometimes I just sits.
