Agree wholeheartedly!

Once it became clear what the daughter was about to do, I cringed! I wasn't convinced when it was announced, the trailer sold me on it. Having watched it, I'm reverting to my initial reaction... WHAT WAS THE POINT?

You know it's bad when people in the audience are laughing at what's meant to be serious killings of the bad guys. Scrap that, you know it's bad when the audience are laughing at EVERYTHING in a film that isn't a comedy!

And that scrum to get our phones back. Next time, I'll revert to lying and keeping hold of my phone. What a mess that was.

5/10

Firstly, apologies I stole at least 4 bottles of lager  sorry!

I quite liked it - it very much poked fun at the first film. The humour was excellent, loved the scenes with Liam Neeson, his daughter and her boyfriend and how he found his address at the start!

I like the whole thing with Liam Neeson remembering the directions/landmarks with the hood over his head.

Loved the whole thing where he explained to his daughter about the map, the circles, the grenades etc!

All in all, just as good as the first. Great movie. 8/10.

What more can I say...ditto! I was trying to find something positive about the film, but I can't think of anything...oh yes, it was a good comedy....oh I forgot, it wasn't meant to be! 4/10

Dumb fun, not as offensive and aggressive as the first, and clearly softer with the edits, but by the time they began throwing grenades and drawing radii on a map in hyperactive editing, I was willing to go for stupid. Solid 6/10.

Working nearby has some perks, because I managed to get a cancellation and go to the film. Arrived not long after 6pm, didn't realise it was a giant screen so just headed upstairs to the balcony and got a side-ish seat near the front.

I hadn't seen the first film, but worked out the previous plot from the flashbacks. Was really cheesy and, dare I say it, fun - but I'm not sure that an action film with that much violence is meant to be fun? There was loads of laughter at certain points, but I don't think the director actually intended for those moments to be funny!

My friend mostly enjoyed it - he said it wasn't as good as the first film though.

The phones queue was horrendous - first time I've had to check a phone in and ooh, never again. I'm leaving all electronic devices at the office next time!

Don't really know how to rate this - I did laugh, I'm glad I went, but I'm not sure I'd necessarily recommend it to anyone and I think I was supposed to be more gripped/scared than entertained. Odd one.
I thought the ex-wife/mother of his child was meant to die in 30 minutes without medical intervention - felt like she was a prisoner for a lot longer than that. Hmm.
What a complicated movie, huh? I hope Luc Besson never stops writing these 5 page screenplays. He's just so gosh darn good at it!

Laughably stupid movie, about a hundred times stupider than the original which was at least slick enough to cover up all its plotholes.
This one jumped the shark the second
his daughter started mindlessly tossing all those grenades everywhere and blowing up people's shit.
Why'd he phone his daughter anyway to come rescue him if he had a direct line to his other CIA buddies?
Anyway...

Did anybody else get a stiffy when the music from Drive started playing? (or the HTC One X ad)
No? How about the tune from the Internet Explorer 9 ad?

never been to a screening this big before and having almost all the seats filled up, gladly i wasnt too late this time and was able to get good seats and some alcohol, oh and the queues to get our phones was atrocious next time im leaving it at home

in comparison to the first this film is not very good, few laughs though it wasnt even supposed to be a comedy, it wasnt the worst but i was expecting it to be alot better
Ah, you are right, thanks for that. She did look in a bad way generally, but I suppose being kidnapped will do that to you.
