Btw, has anyone ever been offered "clip-on" 3D glasses for spectacle wearers? Did anyone know they exist? Was having a snooze waiting for the film to start when an usher tapped me on the shoulder and offered me some. OH didn't understand how they worked as it was dark and the film was about to start so I gave him the normal ones. I tried the clip-ons but I find them a bit weird and not very stable. Any opinions?

I agree the film was very confusing at times. The first half was rather dull, but it did pick up in the second half. I also thought the soundtrack wasn't bad, however I was disappointed with the 3D... I thought it added little to the film. Overall, not a bad film, but not brilliant either, very mediocre 5.5/10 at best

Me and my Son saw this at Surrey Quays this morning. We got there way too early (on purpose!) and went in Franky & Benny's for breakfast beforehand - lovely!! The film was ok, but nothing marvellous. Same old, same old. Like Toy Story, but instead of the toys coming to life ... My Son (who's a 'gamer') thought it was really good! So it was a nice break for him, as he's been revising a lot during the Christmas break.

Saw this at Braehead ( thanks to Yinster!) which was 80% full which was a shame as I know plenty of people were looking for tickets. My kids and DH loved it, no toilet trips is usually a good indicator. Playing games like pac-man and space invaders when I was wee I loved all the nods to old games and liked the story. 8/10 for us.
We had the most heavy footed toilet trip audience I have ever encountered today :)

Yip! My daughter was offered them once by an usher, even brought them home with her! :nono: She is 13yrs old(though she looks more like 10yrs old!) and thought they were soooo cool

Surrey Quays had a lot of empty seats too.

Quite a few empty seats at Holloway too. I think the policy of letting you book 4 tickets possibly needs rethinking...

Ohhh! Never heard of them but I'd definitely want to try it as I find glasses over glasses so uncomfortable and my 3D glasses always either fall off or start hurt behind my ears and/or on the bridge of my nose.

Edinburgh was less than 50% full today which surprised me. No one was sat at home chasing Les Mis tix as there is no Les Mis screening in Edinburgh.

I know it was not aimed at me and I know the B&W short was not aimed at the kids - weird choice!

I thought this was really dull at the start although it did improve in the 2nd half albeit with conflicting mixed messages!

Not really sure what it was aiming to do or to whom.

5/10 from me.
