Just watched Arbitrage.
The film had a limited release in the States during September last year and is now just being released in the UK.It was also simultaneously realised on VOD where it did better business that its cinema release.At the time of release it held the record for combined sales for a movie released concurrently in Cinemas and VOD,
I think that the film will do fair business on the back of Richard Gere.However I would say that it's no better than a straight to DVD pot boiler.
What you get for your money are two story threads.The first one revolves around the sale of Gere's characters company,the other involves secrets in Gere's personel life.
Without giving to much away I'm sure that a lot of people ,myself included,will come out scratching there heads and saying to themselves what happened at the end.
One for fans of Gere only.

I agree this premiere was very low key compared too most. Tried too get a photo of Richard Gere as We walked uop the carpet but someone walked right in front of the camera and we got told too move along. Really enjoyed the film but We thought there had been a power cut when the film ended abruptly until the credits started rolling.
We had Kye Sones from X Factor sitting a couple rows behind too our left. We were sitted in row K far right.

Watched Richard Gere being interviewed on TV this morning. He's still got that certain something. He was saying that he likes to do movies where he can get home at night to his family. Sweet.

Saw and enjoyed this yesterday, though it felt a little odd to see it and Side Effects within 24 hours of each other, as to me they share similarities. Also demonstrative of that rule that, because filming and release dates bear no relation to each other, you don't see a particular actor for a while, then they show up in several films at once: Susan Sarandon, for instance (this film and Robot & Frank) and James Mcavoy.

There is actually an article in the Cineworld magazine showing how many actors are appearing in two or more films around this time of year.

P.S. I didn't see any similarities at all between Arbitrage and Side Effects.
