Lol. I must have lasted less than 5 minutes as I briefly woke up and realised I had no idea who any of the characters were! obviously I could recognise Batman and Wonder Woman etc. but no idea of their relevance. Promptly nodded off again! Other adults were in hysterics. I couldn't see any humour in this at all. Thought it was rubbish. BAFTA my backside.Beate wrote:Didn't really get into this. Oh, and another thing! Lego should be Lego. Simple building bricks to be made into any number of structures. None of these specific toys that can only be one thing, if that makes sense...and as for the little men themselves - they're not proper Lego! Grrr.

Re: The Lego Movie 3D
I'd heard quite a few good things about the film and since I had the option of watching it on a flight I thought I would give it a try.
I'm afraid I really didn't like it all! I thought the plot was really weak and it came across as a thinly veiled marketing ploy.
Some parts were funny but it didn't really do it for me.
I kind of see the appeal, especially for children but it wasn't for me

I got to watch it again a couple of weeks ago, and it still managed to have me cracking up throughout the whole film. Truly a good movie. 10/10
P.s. once you hear that song, there's no going back
