Re: Inglourious Basterds
Damn that Nokia Skate Almighty - whilst I was there with my daughter and a number of her friends a code for the one film I want to see comes out.
Typical!!
Fingers crossed for more codes!!

Am I the only member who doesn't want to see this, or merely the only one brave/foolhardy enough to admit it? But if I'm around and another code appears, I will happily get tickets for others.

Re: Inglourious Basterds
Well it's a Nazi war drama, it's got Brad Pitt in it and lots of German actors. That doesn't mean it will necessarily be a good film, but it means I am interested!
Re: Inglourious Basterds
I went to see it just to challenge myself as I had a low opinion of Tarantino's style and came out as another happy customer. I would take the risk!
Re: Inglourious Basterds
I'd be interested to see the German actors but Brad Pitt is, if not a minus, then not a draw either, and I don't think I could stomach the violence. I have read quite a lot about this film and it does sound very violent - and suspenseful (?), which would make it even more nerve-wracking. The only QT film I have seen was "Jackie Brown" and I can barely recall it, but it can't have been too gruelling or I would have remembered it for that, at least.

Re: Inglourious Basterds
You know, I don't think I have ever seen a Quentin Tarantino film! Is that bad?
Re: Inglourious Basterds
Actually, now that you mention it J Brown was my last T's film and I promised myself never to watch another one again but for some reason I felt short to my promise (thank god for that) Trust me it was worthed it! I rarely speak about the films I watch but this I could not recommend it enough : everything acting:superb, script: wonderful, camera, photography, you name it. It's good!

Not bad, but unusual, I would think for an FMUK member and a Mod at that!Beate wrote:You know, I don't think I have ever seen a Quentin Tarantino film! Is that bad?

Re: Inglourious Basterds
Yeah but my film attendance before FMUK was rather selective!
