Re: Couples Retreat
I wonder if they have shown the funniest/best bits in the trailer? Hopefully it will be good when I go and see it tomorrow but I am not that optimistic.

Re: Couples Retreat
I'm looking forward to this one - been a while since the last RomCom (The Proposal), so will be good to see something this week that requires little attention/concentration but is entertaining to watch. I've been avoiding the trailer for this, in case they have put the funniest bits in it. Don't wanna spoil it for myself! I'm a sucker for a good RomCom, but shhh, don't tell my bf!

Preferred cinemas: All Central London: APOLLO Piccadilly, EMPIRE Leicester Sq; ODEONS: Leicester Sq/Covent Garden/West End/Whiteleys/Panton St; VUE: West End/Fulham/Islington, CINEWORLD: Haymarket/Shaftesbury Ave; Brixton Ritzy,
Then: Westfield, o2, Clapham

Re: Couples Retreat
Is it meant to be a rom-com? it looked more like a screwball comedy in the trailer

No, don't p*y for it!! or at least wait for the fmukkers reviews.
Ms Thrifty wrote:I was surprised there weren't more previews for this, but perhaps the distributors lost their nerve? On the "Too many films at once" thread, I was tempted to say "all right for some" and to point out that some people have no previews at all this week, as both this film and "An Education" are only on in selected areas. But maybe it's no great loss. Also, pa*d previews start the very day after the free one.

Re: Couples Retreat
See - I don't know what genre it's meant to be as I avoided watching any trailer for it. So, I took a guess that it was a RomCom. I guess I'll find out tomorrow!superhero wrote:Is it meant to be a rom-com? it looked more like a screwball comedy in the trailer

Re: Couples Retreat
Well it could be a silly rom-com, but definitely not like The Proposal/Ugly Truth

Re: Couples Retreat
Yes at Vue Islington, I watch all films even if it's not my genre ( I did give Barbie a miss though
)

Re: Couples Retreat
