Well we do have a Children's section in my workplace so I will call it engaging with the child!

Re: Morning Glory
Not had much luck getting tickets recently so really looking forward to seeing this next week.

Re: Morning Glory
Just come back from seeing this at Whiteleys (Bayswater). A full house, but I was disappointed with the film overall. Just like the real Daybreak, it just didn't work for me. I think the film's humour relies too much on Harrison Ford being the grumpy, uncomfortable sod. A few laughs here and there but I got the feeling Mr Ford didn't really want to be in it.
Re: Morning Glory
Saw this at Sheffield Odeon this evening. Not been there in a while - and try to avoid it whenever I can (even though for me it is only a 6 minute walk). Does anyone else agree with me that the screens aren't that good? Not sloped, so you have to try to avoid heads, and the screen seems to be really high up - and hurts your neck.
Took a friend with me this time - I forgot how surprised people can be when they find out they can see films for free.
The film started off with the picture being really small and slowly (and I mean slowly..) getting bigger and bigger until it filled the screen (was it just my cinema that did this?). I enjoyed the film, and found some parts quite funny. The acting was good, but something just wasn't right. The story dragged somewhat at times. I'd give it a 7/10, but this film is instantly forgettable for me.
Now I don't think I've ever seen any films (apart from this one of course) with Harrison Ford in - any suggestions?

Re: Morning Glory
My cinema did this too. I thought that someone had screwed up in the projection room. Lol. Evidently not. I agree that this film is instantly forgetable. I'd have one word for it - "Fluffy". Several people around me laughed like drains, but I hardly raised a smile. Best I can muster is 5/10. :-(

Re: Morning Glory
What, no Indiana Jones? Star Wars? Air Force One? Working Girl? I adored him in that.
Btw, yes we had the picture that started small and got bigger here too. I am confident it's part of the film.

Re: Morning Glory
Don't forget "Witness".
Re: Morning Glory
Maybe I've seen Star Wars, when I was younger, but I can't remember any of it.
Strange - it didn't seem to add anything to the film at all, so why would they have done that? I assumed it was a screw up.
