Email from Sky:

Dear Beate,

Please note that Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has now received a 12A rating, which has been revised up from its expected rating.

Below is the guidance advice from the British Board of Film Classification for your reference:

The 12 and 12A categories are awarded where the material is suitable, in general, only for those aged 12 and over. Works classified at these categories may upset children under 12 or contain material which many parents will find unsuitable for them.

No one younger than 12 may see a ‘12A’ film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult, and films classified ‘12A’ are not recommended for a child below 12. An adult may take a younger child if, in their judgement, the film is suitable for that particular child. In such circumstances, responsibility for allowing a child under 12 to view lies with the accompanying adult.

Please take this into consideration when attending this Thursday\'s preview screening of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

But it got that rating a week ago, maybe more? These guys need organisation.
Excited for the film tomorrow...
Thursday should be fun, I like the sequels a lot more than I should, people do and more than I like the original (Sacrilege, I know), 3D will be a bit of an annoyance, but I expect a lot of fun.

May not be able to make this screening - I might have to go to a school meeting with my parents. Fingers crossed I don't have to go!
Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

(I've been missing from this forum for a while but making an appearance again :p )
I JUST GOT TICKETS TO WATCH JOHNNY DEPP AT THE O2 TOMORROW! <:D
I say that I am watching Johnny Depp and not Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides because I'm not bothered about the other characters or the story itself...just want to see him as Jack Sparrow! I enjoyed the first two when they still had Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom ( :red: ) but now it's just Johnny Depp...
Look forward to watching it so thanks young_fabio + steve9872
