Yeh I am going to stick with this and give it a go Valda. The trailer didn't look so bad but I hope not all the good things aren't in the trailer. It wasn't just A Serious Man that was shit. So was Burn After Reading. Completely pointless bullshit. I hope it's not another one of those. Also it's one of the rare Central London showings that I could probably get to in enough time. :cross:

4) Odeon Greenwich or Odeon Surrey Quays

I liked Burn after Reading, one of thier goofy films but A Seriuos Man, has to be one of the worst films I've ever seen in a cinema. I can't tell you how much I hated it
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

I loved the many Coen films such as Raising Arizona, Hudsucker Proxy, and my fav Big Lebowski. But in between their fun movies, they make the most pretentious crap. The Serious Man was, I agree, the WORST ever. But when they're good they are brilliant. With the Dude back, I think this new film will deliver, fingers crossed.

i liked Serious Man, mainly becos i like films in that period early 20th century feel. but i acknowledge it wasnt anything close to their 90's output.

Come to think of it, No Country wasnt all that. both that and Seriousm Man felt like half a film in that they ended nowhere. abrupt endings dont work when you been watching for an hour and a half.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.
