First4movies just sent me an update on events and mention the winner of the most Moviepoints-this is "Our Aylthonian" Congratulations, well done. o/

First things first, congratulations are in order for jillsa, who is our current user with the highest number of MoviePoints and will be the lucky recipient of a goodie bag along with two Odeon Free Cinema Passes. Keep earning those points guys and each month going forward more prizes will be up for grabs.

Congrats Alythonian! Wow, you guys do win a lot of prizes...so talented, no not lucky, talented, lol. I have no idea how so many of you here do it...I'm impressed.

Anakin, glad you doing your bit for the hairdressers physical workout, hope you giving yourself a workout too, on a regular basis and healthy eating, hmmm? ;) And good luck with your job hunting! Going by your character, positive attitude, total focus on your applications, and perseverence, you will be successully empoyed very soon:)

Well I'm on the train to Newcastle for my big run, and because of my stupid dumb scheduling, I'll be revising for my first exam on Monday for the whole weekend instead of joining my friends, touring Newcastle :(

As I sit on this train though (nice train by the way with power sockets for laptops with a free wireless hotspot access, and thats just standard class, never knew trains were this equipped), I'm feeling nervous. This is the biggest event of my life to be honest, and I hope first of many as I pursue further goals but I have no idea why I am suddenly feeling shivers just like that...Maybe I find out later in my PT course! I sure hope I overcome these jitters when I start the damn race. I have had momentous occasions, sporting or academic as I'm sure most of us have had at some point in the past but for me, this is different, this is something I never thought of doing before, regular weightwatchers thread visitors will know I have had a whirlwind fitness journey and more importantly I never raised money for charity before. Oh btw thank you everyone who has sponsored me or just simply wished me good luck! I understand finance is tough thess days so no worries to those who couldnt, this is a site about free films and free goodies after all so I never expect much, lol...but I'm so grateful to those who had, and of course so will Asthma UK! If anyone else has any spare change in your pockets (or your wallets are ridiculously heavy and needs to lighten a bit!), might you consider donating to my charity run? If so the link is hidden "conspicously" in my signature ;) ...that was quite a subtle plug wasnt it?

The run is broadcast live on BBC1 from 9:30am to 12am if anyone interested in trying to spot me ;) I'll be proudly (actually a little embarrasingly) wearing a green superhero outfit that I made up...Asthma Man! I b*ght material for a cape and had ideas of doing my own logo and everything but because of my studies and workload, my mother took over and sewed it up. Another first for me...Dress up!! Always thought of doing it in the past when I go to Star Wars premieres but never quite had the bottle. So another tick in the box there. My Asthma running team are wearing green paint on our faces so I thought I might as well add an outfit to it. So I have a green cap, green cape, greenface paint and a green Asthma UK vest, oh and a black Zorro eye mask. Pity I aint as fat as I used to be, I couldve been easier to spot!

But I do have an online running tracker where you can view my running progress live online! So you'll see the current speed I'm running at and my current location. I will be trying to maintain a speed of 11kmh or pace 5"30' min/km. So if you tracking me, you can drop me a message of encouragement, maybe kick my ass to speed up or something or a few expletives from a_person should be quite effective ;) as I will be monitoring any message alerts as I run. Obviously I cant reply back though! I aim to complete under 2 hours, thats my target, fingers crossed as apparently this course is pretty hilly and possibly windy.

Track me here: http://www.runkeeper.com/user/runtejrun

Huh, I didnt realise I was going to write such a long post...well I gotta have my breaks from studying, so where better to spend it, ay?

Oh an since everyone appears to be having a haircut, think I will get one too as soon as I get off this train in Newcastle...wonder what a Newcastle cut will look like? I'm game for something different...

then back to flipping studying, and there's so much events and sights to see :(

Gosh, I just received an email that someone added me as friend on a forum I haven't been to for ages. They seem to have changed their whole system since I logged on last and now it's a bit like facebook with all the profile rating and "add as friend" rubbish. The default was of course set to "add automatically" so I changed that straight away and kicked all those socalled friends I have never heard off from my list. What a cheeky thing to do. Don't know anyway why someone would want to add me, my profile is empty and I haven't been there for absolute ages. Forced social networking so isn't me! I sometimes receive these requests "Carol would like to add you to LinkedIn" or something. Why would someone in whose B&B I once stayed want to add me to anything?
