Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread

I was hoping SFF might have some tickets for Apassionata again this year as kids really enjoyed it last year, but have just had a 2-4-1 ticket offer from Ticketmaster, so am guessing probably not, they only have one day this year too. January is unfortuantely not the month for ticket b*ying, even at 2-4-1, nevermind.

Still not free, but they're doing 50% off tickets now (which is better than 2-4-1 if you're with an uneven number of people) so perhaps more deals will come up:

I really enjoyed Apassionata last year and was hoping that SFF would issue more tickets so that I could take my daughter & granddaughter, who I know would love to see it.
If January wasn't such a financially painful month then I would be happy to b*y tickets as this show is worth the cost (well at 50% ticket price that is)

Saw 'A Round-Heeled Woman' this evening with a superb Sharon Gless and a very good supporting cast, on £3 (inc. BF) tickets from lastminute.com. Ten of us went and we all loved it. Very good indeed - exceptionally funny with some genuine open mouth moments as well.

Gosh! I love the movie - should I catch the stage show before it ends?? Has anyone seen it?

Legally Blonde? I've seen it before and absolutely loved it. I didn't think I would (I thought that a musical based on that movie would just be silly) but the songs are very catchy and the whole show is just fun. I am very surprised it's suddenly closing as it's been winning best musical awards.

Yes, LB, sorry, should have said. I didn't go to see it as I thought perhaps it would be a bit silly, as you say.

Perhaps I'll try and book tickets then. I think I have some discount vouchers somewhere....
