Wish I had seen this at the time! I know there are £10 tickets, but haven't seen any freebies (at least for over 26's). Have heard very good things about the show, especially Tyne Daly; hope you enjoyed it. Saw Sharon Gless recently, so need this for the set!

Have been interested in seeing After the Turn, so interested to read your comments on that as well.

Sorry, didn't look at the link. I realise now that I misinterpreted that post.

I'm really keen to see Masterclass so will hope to manage something with cliveas's deal. Otherwise it will be a half-price ticket from the booth on the day - they seem to be readily available.

Saw "Pajama Men: In the Middle of No One" yesterday. It's a short "play" (approx. 60 minutes long), but I definitely recommend seeing it. Both my bf and I thought it was hilarious. :D

Ha! Was contemplating on whether to see this or not the other day with c_t & ft29 - timing wasn't good so missed out thinking it would be meh. A friend also told me he thinks it's definitely worth a watch and was planning to b*y tickets for it! Guess you just seconded his thought.

Did you get good seats for it then?

The seats were okayish. We were sitting in row Q of the rear stalls. cliveas was sitting 2 or 3 rows in front of us.

Ballot for 10,000 free tickets to the Diamond Jubilee Concert (5000 winners get a pair each). I want to go!!!

On Monday 4 June 2012 there will be a star-studded concert, set against the spectacular backdrop of Buckingham Palace, celebrating Her Majesty The Queen's 60 year reign. The Diamond Jubilee Concert, produced by the BBC, is going to be one of the most spectacular shows ever staged in the UK. The BBC and music maestro Gary Barlow are bringing together some of the biggest names from the worlds of music, dance and musical theatre – including Shirley Bassey, Alfie Boe, Jools Holland, Jessie J, JLS, Elton John, Tom Jones, Annie Lennox, Madness, Paul McCartney, Cliff Richard and Ed Sheeran.

Ticket holders, who are successful in the ballot, will also be able to enjoy a Jubilee picnic in the magnificent gardens of Buckingham Palace, before taking a seat in front of the Queen Victoria Memorial, where the concert will take place.

The application period closes at 23:59 hrs GMT on 2 March 2012. Tickets will not be allocated on a first-come first-served basis; there is as much chance of being selected if your application is made on 7 February as on 2 March.

Please read the Ballot Rules before completing the application form at the bottom of the page.

This is neither theatre nor a concert, so would've been posted in the Film Discussion part of the forum. A quick search gives me:
