Duh? Rush? They're the greatest cult band ever. Ranked 3rd in consecutive gold albums.Celini wrote:Rhoooooo, I am excited for you!weirdfilms33 wrote:(you're supposed to be excited for me)
(who's that Rush person?)

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Had the pleasure of taking my friends 12 yr old daughter and her mates when they were on in l'pool, my friend not being in to concerts. JLS not really my cup of tea, surrounded by loads of screaming girls, but their stage show is brilliantly done and their dance moves are really tight.havingascreen wrote:I'm going to see JLS in July......birthday pressie for my teeny bop daughter. Did you know that on 3rd June there is a special JLS 3D cinema concert taking place. It's called 'Eyes Wide Shut' after their tour. It's showing in cinemas all over the country for that day only. Tickets can be b*ght direct from the cinema or through ticketmaster.
It will probably then be released on DVD.

Eyes Wide Shut? Influenced by the Kubrick film, perhaps?jordsmum wrote:Had the pleasure of taking my friends 12 yr old daughter and her mates when they were on in l'pool, my friend not being in to concerts. Nice! Were you upstairs or downstairs? I like the view from the balcony if they leave it open.ucakpam wrote:Just came back from seeing My Dying Bride at the Islington academy. The gig was awesome.
There's so much variety in this thread, MDB and JLS, two opposite ends of the spectrum.. No idea who JLS are but I suspect my ears would be wide shut if I heard them..
