Re: Holiday Thread
I know I feel a bit stupid, its supposed to be the highlight of the visit! The museums and galleries still there, though I swear some of the geography of the shopping streets have changed and probably expanded a bit, it has been several years since the last visit so it might just be in my head.rawr_xoxo wrote:You never used the spa? :O

Sounds perfect, history, shopping and walking I feel a weekend away coming onTheyCallMeMrGlass wrote:I find it a stunning town, the Roman heritage is evident everywhere. Walking around is bliss with some beautiful scenery as you walk around and up crescent hills. You can actually walk everywhere as it is a very compact town and I know you love walking. Its of course famous for its Roman spa built around Bath's natural hot springs which I find fascinating. And you can even spend time in the spa yourself, as part of it is open for use to the public. Though I never actually used it, I just visited the museum spa. In the centre, there is a vast network of shopping streets and quaint markets to satisy the shopper in you. In some ways, its like our own little Rome!Diane65 wrote:

MrGlass: Well Doctor I keep annoying everyone with health and fitness advice
Doctor: Well I see nothing wrong with that
MrGlass: But they avoid me now, by the way you are slouching.
Doctor: Well thats...what? Oh my, so I am, ho ho, thank you for correting me.
MrGlass: your welcome, are you going to eat that muffin on your desk?
Doctor: Why? would you like to have it?
MrGlass: Yes, I throw it away for you.
Doctor: Well I er...
MrGlass: ...Its very high in saturates and hydrogenated oil
Doctor...Oh my is that the time, just take these pills and everything will be fine.
MrGlass: wow these will make everyone less annoyed of me?
Doctor: Abslutely, it will make you a mute. Goodbye.

Re: Holiday Thread
Slightly off topic but still holiday related. Does the site onhotels.com look OK? Just looking to book my Paris hotel and came across this site and the prices are about 25% cheaper than all the other sites I've tried, it appears to be too good to be true but could be genuine. I'm not brilliant at IT so wouldn't know; its also got McAfee secure which I've never heard of.
Thanks anyone for any help.
