Just had a Tesco Clubcard mailshot saying that from 1 November, they are reducing both the points earned for petrol and the value of rewards - bother! Petrol is about the only thing I can b*y at Tesco and a tank lasts me about a month. At this rate I might just as well go to the cheapest garage as p*y whatever Tesco want just to earn points. And if rewards cost more, too, I might never earn enough for another Cineworld voucher!

Why is Nectar so rubbishy for deals, even the reduced Clubcard version? We have thousands of almost useless Nectar points.

I have never claimed anything with Nectar...I was thinking of changing my Tesco points soon too, but they are saying we are still getting a better deal than before they did the double clubcard points promotion

It's not a better deal if you receive only one point per £1 for petrol! At this rate I'd do better to walk to Cineworld and p*y for the film - I'd probably still save more.

I b*ght http://www.disneystore.co.uk/kids-cloth ... 98/300017/ for OH's niece (well my niece too)... They look so cute in the photo and they've just arrived and look even cuter.

Much too cute to be worn and probably wrecked by a two-year old.

Unconfirmed yet, but now I know why that Carlsberg screening today was asking for guys only...LOL...
It's for a Carlsberg Ad...I don't know if my friend's joking, but he was forced to drink a beer by Kelly Brooks!!!
Only if Carlsberg do film screenings....hahaha

(I dread to think what they did to Beate...haha)

UPDATE: The theme was If Carlsberg did 3D and Kelly Brooks pops up of the screen to offer the cinema goers a beer!

Hope my friend gets some royalties for the Ad!

What a load of bull. It was supposed to start at 1pm, we were there at 12.40 to be offered a free popcorn, then the waiting started. "Soon". "In a minute". "Won't be long now." We were FINALLY let into the screening room at 1.30pm to be sitting around for another 10 minutes without anything happening then we get a few stupid ads, then one with Kelly Brook getting up from a sofa in a ridiculous outfit (the feminist inside me was screaming), strapping on a table with beers on them, vanishing through a cinema door, then turning up for real in our screening room! She started handing out the beers, OH got one too. Then they did it a few more times, with the camera at other angles which is when it finally clicked with me that we are being abused for a TV ad without even having given our consent! The OH got another beer before I could stop him, and both times said to Kelly "Thank you darling." He clearly had no idea who she was! I will sue if that bit makes it into the ad. :wall:

We finally snuck out when they threatened to do it a fourth time, and waited patiently in the foyer for the others to come out so we could grab our Carlsberg. They had packs of 10 cans stuck up on top of each other but they were held together by foil in double packs so we have just lugged 40 bloody cans of Carlsberg across London! Not sure we should have taken that many but saw other take exactly the same amount. I am totally done in now. I hope our guest likes beer...

soonforgotten, were you in the front row? Saw someone with unruly hair...
