oh no, I can't believe he did not get you any! For that, he needs to go get you today a big box of Thorntons or whatever the best ones are! :P

I did say, rather bitterly, "Yes, why should I think you would b*y ME chocolates!" But he obviously felt terrible about it and anyway, I went out and b*ght my own because I had been expecting to have some. (He was busy cooking dinner, in fairness to him...)

I'd be really annoyed, if my oh brought chocolates (or any kind of food) for his work colleagues but not for me.

Cor blimey, if someone did that to me, at a minimum, I expect nothing less than a box of Godiva.

Well, as poor OH would say "A man's place is in the wrong!" Maybe I'm just having a bad patch: today the ticket machine at Victoria swallowed my Travelcard and it took me over 30 minutes to persuade staff to reissue it - and that was despite having the receipt and the card with which I'd pa*d for it. Then the new one didn't work properly in any of the tube station barriers; the matinee I went to was so crap (plus by then I had a blinding headache) that I left at the interval and now I will have to miss the play I was booked to see tonight. But I'd had enough by then and just wanted to come home!

Poor Ms_Thrifty, you should relax this evening and put your feet up.

I also have a headache. The heater at work is making it worse and I don't finish until 9pm!

Sorry to hear that, a_person. At least I am not having to work like you, and so late. Hope you feel better soon.
