yes, i saw this, but if the weather holds it might be a good idea to play tourists and take a boat :)

I had to write my own letter of complaint today... it took forever... I started, then went on this site, went back to it, then went on Facebook, went back to it, then went on bbc.co.uk... Seriously, it was less than a page and it took hours to do...

I need to practise what I preach!

A few years ago I worked on a debt recovery desk (hated it ) and we were taught this when writing a letter to customers which might help you compose a letter of complaint. The word we had to remember was SCRAP for :-

S -The situation

C - complication

R - reason for the above

A - action wanted

P - polite

It helps to remember this in a lot of letter writing and always end with a polite note, for example - looking forward to your early reply!!

Still striking whilst the iron's hot, wrote my 2nd letter of complaint yesterday. That's the bank and building society ticked off, in both senses, but don't think I've time or energy for a third...

I've been stuck indoors the whole weekend with a miserable cold that has not turned into a vile cough. I attempted to go to work but decided it wasn't a good idea.

So stuck on my own 3rd day in a row, just about to watch Philip Morris.

oh poor you valda, I was like that last weekend, still have quite a dry throat, but cough not so bad, and feeling a lot better this morning, only to have someone sneeze continuously behind me on the bus this morning, so I think I got the germs again! aaargh! noooooooooo ! :wall:

maybe we all should wear masks like in Japan when we are ill. Rotten air con doesn't help either, recycling germs round the office.

So sorry you 2 girls are feeling poorly, big hugs to you both and get well very soon. Offices with air con always seem to be a problem, good old fresh air is what you both need.
