Didn't know whether to post this here or in Joke for Today but this happened a couple of years ago and today something reminded me of this true story so I hope it will give you all a laugh!

My daughter-in-law was visiting an elderly relative and the old lady was telling her how she loved reading and discussed the books she had just read. My daughter-in-law said she had just finished reading a book by Jackie Collins and said to the old lady "I would have given it to you to read but I think it would be too "raunchy" for you.

The old lady replied "I DIDN'T KNOW YOU READ WESTERNS" thank you but I don't like COWBOY stories!!!! :giggle:
